I teach rock climbing courses in and around Skåne, indoors and outdoors, all year round. Learn how to climb safely and efficiently with a certified instructor today! Get in touch and we'll find a time and date for a course whenever it suits you. You only need to bring shoes to climb in, everything else you can borrow during the course.

If you already know what kind of course you want to take, you can also send a booking request through the calendar below.

Top rope course
Learn to climb and belay on top rope and get a green card. 2 x 3h. Price: 1200 kr per person, up to 6 people, or 2400 kr for a single person.
Sport climbing course
Take a sport climbing course and learn to climb outdoors on top rope and lead on bolted routes. Gets you a red card. 2 full days. Price: 2500 kr per person, up to 4 people, or 4200 kr for a single person.
Sport climbing multipitch
Learn to climb multipitch on bolted routes. You should take a sport climbing course before you take this one. 2 full days. Price: 2500 kr per person, up to 4 people, or 4200 kr for a single person.
Problem solving and systemic knowledge
What do you do if something goes wrong while sport climbing or rappelling? Learn to understand the equipment and methods we use better so you can solve problems that arise. You should take the sport climbing course before taking this one. 2 full days. Price: 2500 kr per person, up to 4 people, or 4200 kr for a single person.
The competent sport climber bundle
This is a much longer course where you will get to learn much more than just the basics. Learn everything you need to be able to climb safely indoors and outdoors, single and multipitch on bolted routes. About 40 h in total. Price: 7500 kr per person, up to 4 people, or 15000 kr for a single person.
Hire an instructor
Hire me for anything from a few hours to several days. We can do whatever you like, climb, practice stuff, I can guide you around crags, or teach you stuff. Price: 2500 kr per person, up to 4 people, or 4200 kr for a single person.
Try climbing
Try climbing for a full day with your friends or colleagues. Bring shoes, food, and water. I will take care of the rest. Price: 4200 kr per day, up to 4 people.
First aid & CPR
Learn first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Be prepared in case of an accident. Price: 800 kr per person, up to 6 people, or 1200 kr for a single person.

Who am I?
My name is Sami Ylinen. I started climbing in 2006, and I've been a certified climbing instructor since 2016 with the Swedish Climbing Federation, Svenska Klätterförbundet. I have previously worked as a climbing instructor and shop manager at Klättercentret in Malmö, and I also teach climbing at Malmö Climbing Club.
I'm originally from Timrå, but I've lived in Malmö for more than 20 years. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy climbing sport or trad, preferably in Spain, making pancakes over a camp fire, painting and drawing, and building stuff. I also work as a goldsmith. I have masters degrees in music and in pedagogy, and I'm a certified first aid and CPR instructor.
